Mountsorrel Beat Team – Weekly Update

This week your Mountsorrel Beat Team has been supporting response colleagues due to increased demand during the warm weather.

The local officer attended a domestic-related incident within the Charnwood area, which has now been passed to response officers for further investigation. They also responded to a report of a broken-down JCB on the A6, Mountsorrel.

Please remember: if your vehicle breaks down in a live lane, this is considered a police emergency. You should call 999 to ensure help reaches you as quickly as possible.

The officer also assisted response colleagues by transporting a male to custody following an arrest for a public order offence within Charnwood.

Out on the beat, your local PCSO carried out a Beat Surgery at Stonehurst Farm, providing an opportunity for residents to speak directly with their neighbourhood policing team. They have also continued to carry out patrols within the village.
